I don't have them yet but I soon plan to have a series of sax stands that are to say the least "Outstanding" and affordable.
Went to the NAMM show in Nashvill acouple of weeks ago and saw them and they were just what I had been looking for personally and for you players out there.
I will let you know when they are on my www.gigdust.com site. Just keep checking as I am waiting on graphics on them now.
Regards,

Hi Retread!
Yes I will have the bari stands as well. I just yesterday received the first shipment of "STAND-UP TENOR AND ALTO" stands.
These stands are designed so that a player that stands during a show can adjust the stand to the exact level that he desires where there is no bending over to RETRIEVE his the instrument--it is right there at arm level by you. If a player sits, as I generally have to now, on a stool then he does not have to bend over to get his sax off the stand on the floor he can adjust it to any heigth that makes it comfortable for him to reach out and get it.
The bari stands are not designed this way at present but I am going to check about this and see what can be done to possibly to get an adjustable one for bari as well. It would be a great addition to the line.
These stands are well designed, well made, and affordable. They are all under $40.00 retail. They fold up into a very small package and are easy to transport. That priceing includes the stands for for two saxes and two pegs etc. I will have a full explanation on my site with the graphics. I was very glad to run into these as I had been needing just such a stand for quite some time. Several years ago a friend, fellow musician, made a stand for me that did this but it was heavy, bulky, and hard to move around from gig to gig so these were a dream come true when I saw them.
Regards,
Charlie A.
We will be shooting the graphics next week and will get them on the site next week as well--I hope.

Hi Aaron!
Yes I was at the NAMM show but I didn't have a booth this year. Mainly I was just walking around with Jody Espina playing the different instruments and talking to distributors.
Sorry that I missed you.

I had a great time "working the room" with the inventor of gig dust and crud patch. Charlie and his lovely wife Linda are great to hang out with.
Sorry to miss you also Aaron. I would have liked to meet you and hear you play.
Charlie the Gig dust and crud patch came through for me last night on an outdoor gig. That stuff really works like a charm. Thanks

Charlie,
Are these the SaxRax stands...if so, are you going to be selling the workstations, too?

If they fold up, they are not SaxRax!

I am not familar with Morgan stands at all but I don't see how these could be them.
I'm sorry that I can't answer you but I don't know what a Morgan looks like.

Received a bari stand from Charlie yesterday. It does seem to be a strong, sturdy stand, heavily built. Fit is excellent for my big bell Buescher Bb, and when adjusted for this sax the legs spread 20" with the apex of the triangle 10" above the floor. It's stable unless tipped from just the right (wrong?) direction, which would be the case with any tripod stand. It should be extremely stable when adjusted for a low A. I'm inpressed with the apparent quality for the price.

Just received my standing tenor stand yesterday. Set it up in my practice space last night and I am impressed with the quality especially at this price point.

I'm 6'2" and play standing in a rock and roll band, and bending over to put the horn down in my other stand was a pain. This stand resolves that issue. It appears to be a well made stand, and with the legs flat on the floor it's rock solid. Can't wait to use it on a gig.

And Charlie is a pleasure to deal with.

Got one of these stands from Charlie for my Low A bari and I thought I'd throw in my good impressions... I love the stand! 8) It's stable, solid and very well made. For the price these sell for, I find that's a very good quality investment. I trust my bari sitting on there. Now yhe only thing is that it's made me paranoid about my other saxophone stands

Thanks Charlie :D

Is there a good stand for a The Martin Tenor. Several Ive seen have difficulty accomodating the unique large wire bell key guard and puts stress on the guard itself. I dont want a stand thats gonna work my posts loose on me. Thats a nasty place for a solder repair to show up on a nicely finished horn.

Sorry I was so long in answering your post but I was having problems, all my fault, getting on the forum

I believe that these stands will fit you sax well. They are very sturdy and well designed and the price is right. I believe that you will be well satisfied.
