I just received back from Mojobari a Beechler Diamond Inlay alto piece (hard rubber) that he tweaked for me. I'd obtained this piece in a trade with a fellow SOTW poster. It immediately stood out as an extremely powerful mouthpiece but it chirped badly. Mojo did his magic on it and now it plays great. No chirps (except when I relaxed my embouchure too much on the higher notes - and then they were very slight - nothing like the solid squeaks I got before).

Now, the thing plays smoothly and responsively, albeit extremely loud. It is not good for subtle settings, but will ride in my horn case until I need VOLUME.

By the way, it peeled paint with a shaved-down Vandoren Java #2 reed. Those of you who may be looking for 1) mouthpiece work, give Mojo a try; and 2) a loud mouthpiece, try the Beechlers (this one was stamped SOS on the side). DAVE

Just got back a florida link from mojo that was a mess: dinged tip, uneven rails, crud on the inside etc. It is now the best playing mouthpiece I have ever played, period. My teacher played it and had the same comment. I can't imagine a better use of $70. Thanks, mojo

I too must give praise to Mojobari for some fantastic work he recently did on my STM modern Link tenor mouthpiece. Truly a wonderful mouthpiece and Keith was a gentleman to deal with. Absolutely amazing work. Thanks Keith!

I have known Mojo for a number of years and I have to say, not only is he a fine all around player and really nice person to know but he has now added to his repetoir one of the finest refacing talents around.
I am now playing a Lawton on bari that he worked his magic on and it is now one of if not the best bari piece I have used in over 40 years of playing. Add to this the rubber Link alto piece that he refaced and added a baffle to making it also the greatest alto piece I have ever owned and I am really trying to keep the rave reviews down because this kind of thing will make him almost inaccessable for work in the future as he gets busy with this refacing venture.. He is doing wonderful things with mouthpieces..
and I am sure it will just keep getting better and better!!!
