Hey,
Just bought a used 120/2 Metal Berg and the ligature seems to be
too narrow for any reed to go. Looks like the original model though. Don't know if this is a typical problem or not, but never had it before. I can force a cane reed in but I ue fibracells and they're a wee bit thicker than conventional reeds. Any suggestion on other ligs to use with those very thin and special Bergs? I have a François Louis for Tenor that fits my runyon custom well but bergs are very oddly shaped. If you've got the trick, I'am all ears.
