My repairman loaned me a Meyer 9M tenor piece. Not my preference, but I might try to help him sell it. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me if it is valuable and approximately how much it might be worth.
Very good condition. Table, tip, rails all look original. Nice thin rails. Small amount of discoloration on the outside. Can see the outline of the ligature.
Diamond on the table says, "9 Meyer Lapped Facing M." Says "Meyer" on back of piece. Says, "Made in U.S.A." on back of shank and "Medium Chamber" on front of shank, just under table. Has two parallel lines on shank close to table.
