I'm sorry to close this thread, folks.

After seeing SoZ's post, I decided to contact Mr. Sugal at the e-mail address on his website to make sure that no one had co-opted his eBay user ID -- a problem mentioned quite a few times here. I also sent him an exact copy of the wording of the ad, as well as the eBay item number.

He confirms that he did set up the ad exactly as written, because of the reasons in the ad.

I contacted Mr. Sugal essentially just to be neighborly and I had also really thought that this was a problem with eBay. It unfortunately appears to be a problem with a former Sugal employee.

I've sent Mr. Sugal another e-mail saying that I'm currently closing this subject because we started getting speculation here about who he's referring to in this eBay ad. The last time we had dealer vs. dealer on this Forum, we had a lot of hurt feelings on both sides and I don't want to see that again.
