kessler custom vs. yamaha YAS-52

the title says it all. I've been thinking about a kessler custom for a while, but there is a yamaha 52 on ebay (ugh) up in about 2 hours.

need some help comparing the two. one much better than the other or is it apples and oranges?

I can't compare the two, but I can tell you as a former owner of a YAS-52 that it's a great horn. I've owned a YAS-23, YAS-52, YAS-62, and although the 52 was marketed as an intermediate horn, it was much closer in quality and sound to the 62 than the 23. (All three are great horns.) And a the current price (except for that huge ding - ouch!), that's a very good deal. Good luck.
