View Full Version : Meyer NY USA tip opp.?
I have a Meyer NY USA (straigt sidewalls) in 8, and is too big for me. On a table I see that the current production 8 is a .86. This is correct for the NY USA?
Thanks

Definately not.
We do a tip and facing copy of an older New York Meyer 5 on a JJ Babbit blank. We found that the older 5 is closer to a current Meyer 7.
Ok,
Have I to supose that my 8 is an actual 10!!!!!????

Who knows. I would just take it to a tech in your area and have the tip opening measured.
NY Meyer USA is pretty much similar with today's Meyer. I suppose you're talking the NY Meyer Brothers?

Thanks Would you be interested in selling or trading your #8 Meyer New York USA alto Piece? I am interested in it.
