I was cleaning my mouthpieces with a mild dish detergent, and noticed I couldn't get some of the gunk out of some of the crevasses. I had an idea to use these Lysol Disinfectant Wipes. The gunk dissolved on contact. It worked great (almost to good). I am a little paranoid that the chemicals in these wipes might harm (damage) the mouthpiece. Do you guys think I have any thing to worry about? BTW... The pieces that I cleaned were a La Sax (brass) silver plated tenor mp, and a Rico metalite alto mp. Thanks in advance...

You have only used them on a plastic and metal piece so far!
There is a good chance the wipes have some alcohol in them ... not the best to use on a quality rubber piece.
I would try them on a junk hard rubber piece first .. the alcohol may fade the rubber.
Vinegar will remove the gunk with no chance of damage.
Good Luck.

Another good cleaning method is to make a mixture of about 95% lukewarm water and 5% peroxide (and a dash of mouthwash if you want the minty aftertaste/smell), and let the mouthpiece sit in that for about five minutes. Then rinse it out.

Those mouthpiece brushes that come in the cheap packaged cleaning kits for the sax seem to work really well in conjuction with the aforementioned cleaning solution.
