HI
Jumbo Java A45 for alto sax =>

Very bright similar Dukoff D8 for similar sound of David Sanborn.
It produces a sound with great humming!
Excellent for music Fusion, Rock, Smooth Jazz.
The best regards

A45 is my first jazz mouthpiece, and I don't imagine myself needing to change for a long, long time.

i used to have it for a month. but it sound too bright and thin compare to my beechler metal. so i'm trading for a tenor piece and see how.

i think the jumbo java a45s are among the best mouthpieces for alto currently available. i use one and love it. it can be played like a classic rubber mpc (like a meyer only with a bigger brighter sound) or it becomes bright and sanbornish if you push it. its a clear big sounding alto piece with fabulous intonation on a mark 6. its versatile. id say try one and if its too bright for you you can also check out the javas . they are less bright but still well made and pretty consistant. the jumbos project better and play easier for me than probably any of the 100s of pieces ive tried. i also use one on tenor when im not playing my dukoffs. my jumbo on tenor has way more power than my metal dukoffs. weird but true

i'm using a t75 jumbo java for my tenor with rico jazz 3m. very good sound and i like it so much. it really louder and have bigger sound than dukoff. is not weird. i feel it the same way.

I'm using the T95 version with RJS 3S or ZZ 2 1/2 and the A75 with V-16 2 1/2. Report same experience as players above. Absolutely a fine mouthpiece.
