I tried e-mailing them to see if they had any plans on making one and they responded with a big no.

They've made straight altos and straight tenors, I don't see why they wouldn't want to make a few curved sops. I'm a curved sop player and would love to play on a keilwerth curved sop. My yani is great, but I don't feel "one" with it heheh

I'd probably sell my Yanagisawa and buy the Keilwerth if it played as well as their other models.

I know we can put Morry down for one!

I would love a Keilwerth curvy!! I don't think that they are wanted to try any new ventures right now though. They are just trying to keep their heads above the water. A curved soprano with that big JK sound would be great.

I just sent them an email asking for one also. Maybe if there are enough requests...

I offered my credit card number for a pre-order if they'll just build me one. :-)

Hahah nice, yea I was even thinking of setting up some sort of mass e-mailing thing that might convince them to do it!

I would suggest that the Cannonbell Big Bell Global curvies play like you might expect a JK to play. I bought one and really like it (after I went through and recorked and set it up properly)...factory set up was dismal but the basic horn is solid and well made and an excellent playing design.

Geez Morry give me your credit card # and I'll build you one. I'll even engrave a BC & BS on it to go with your tatoo...:D

I would definitely be on board for a JK curved soprano. Thanks for putting a dream in my head that will never come to fruition guys!

I can see it now "For sale, rare Keilwerth curved soprano in excellent condition. Serial #000001. $4,000 obo. Formerly owned by that horndog Morry, who had the engraving done to match his tatoo";)

Yeah, the only reason that I have no interest in playing soprano, is because Keilwerth doesn't make them. If they did, I'd definately buy. I'd even pay as much as twice the regular cost for a curved JK sop, yeah, and in nickel silver too!

Mabey if we can get them to build curved sops, then we can get them to build some more of those Low A basses with the high F#, that they built two of a awhile back.

What, you don't like their straight sops? The SX90II is nothing to sneeze at.

If they made a semi curved (saxello) shape, I'd put my hand up. Meanwhile I'll keep saving for a Rampone.

While I'm a big fan of JK altos and tenors, I feel their sopranos require a little too much air up top - I need something with a little more finesse. There's a reason Liebman's face is all pinched up for the money shot in the photos you see of him. Not sure I'd want all that BIG sound directed towards my face from a curvie.

Yani stencil sops RULE!!!

Sorry - it's late...
