Cleaning wooden MPC

I have an Ebony LeBayle MPC.
Residuals dirt is accumulated around the place of the rubber patch. It forms hard lumps difficult to remove. How can I clean this without damaging the MPC.

Try dabbing vinegar on them to soften them up.
