I just bought a brancher tenor piece! It is good but completley different from most other mouthpieces.
Anyone use a brancher piece?
What do u think of them????

John,

I have a Brancher but a metal one! It was refaced by the late Jon van Wie and I'm still very surprised by the quality of the Brancher. I own a LJ 27 which is now a .95 tipopnening with a large chamber. Dark, fat tone with some brigtness due to a little baffle.
Don't know the HR pieces!

Brancher is a very fine brand of pieces. I think (for me) that the metal Brancher pieces are better than the HR. The large chamber pieces are good (LJ) and the little chamber pieces (B) are very fine . A lot of power and very easy to controll (the power of a dukoff D but easier to controll). Besides every Brancher I tried was good (unlike the modern Links ...). In my view this is very important : you don't need to try a dozen of them to find a good one . And the price is not so high than the Guardala, Barone ...
I was disappointed with the HR brancher I tried : not bad but nothing special to me. An other french Brand is better in my view for the HR pieces : Lebayle. These 2 brands are not very known but are very good : give them a try !

Which brand of mouthpiece has the most-similar design/feel with brancher ?
