I'm itching (literally) to get my hands on the alto sax part for take five (though the piano and/or drum part would be awsome as well). I'm not quite sure how it goes, so I'll wait to post my e-mail until some one actually has the peice.
Thanks!

It's also in Jamey Aebersold's Dave Brubeck book. And you can play with accompaniment!

Transcribe? I know that's not the answer you want, but you will be better for it. You said you're not sure how it goes, does this mean you have never heard it? It would be worth your while to buy Dave Brubeck's Time Out and a copy of the Real Book for the changes.
For us lazy - instant gratification requiring yanks, there is always this transcription book. (http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_detail.html?cart=323&item=2959595)

Heh. I know how it goes - I've probably heard it over 100 times.
What's the Real Book?

Comes witout the solo (just like the realbook) but might still be helpful.

...I forgot to mention: you should download the package with ALL the transcriptions right on top of the list. That should work.
Itīs not big still, Take 5 is in it, and all the other tunes might come in handy sometime....
bye,

Hi
I've 'transcribed' it for soprano, you can find it in my web site (in spanish). I've putted the word transcribed in quotes, because I know there would be some mistakes in it. Really appreciate if someone give me a hand on that. Ok, returning on the thread: you can easily transport it to the alto if you want.

Here. It's on this link. It won't be in the correct key for a sax so you might have to transpose it but here it is.
