Which mouthpiece you think is better for an Alto Sax (I donīt have so much to spent...)
Yamaha 4C, Claude Lakey 7*3 (I donīt if it is well spelled) or a Selmer Goldentone?

guisanchez: An impossible question . . . so much depends on YOU and the reed choice. One person's hot mouthpiece set-up will not even sound a note by someone esle.
The Yamaha 4C is stock as I recall. I have one that plays okay (for ME) with a very hard reed but I do not like hard reeds. The Lakey's have always been problematic for me (and I have several for soprano and clarinet), but that's what my daughter uses on her alto - and she loved it.
The answers that you receive can only be personal choices for the responder, not what will work for you.

I agree with Dave regarding trying mps.
In the budget range (about $30 US dollars) you can try the Hite Premier, Morgan PRO-Tone or Yamaha 5C or 6C for general playing.
If you're looking toward jazz, you can see if you can find a Meyer 5 or 6 or a Runyon 6 to 8 in your price range. Beyond that, read through some of the mps threads for opinions of the more expensive mps.
If you can try the mps you list, and don't have a music store near you where you can try others, try them and trust your instincts. The facing on the Lakey is pretty open-so you'd need to try it with a softer reed than you'd need for the Yamaha 4C or Goldentone.
Good luck to you. :D
