raised palm keys and walt johnson case

I just got a selmer-badged walt johnson contoured hard case for my mark 7 tenor. Trouble is that I have tall risers on my palm keys and the case fits so tightly in that area that the keys are being pressed when the horn is in the case. Will this bend the keys? Should I try to take some foam out of there? Try a different case? Or just use it as is?
