Returned my S992...

..I have to give the S9930 a try. I would always second guess my S992 purchase not knowing what the sterling silver model had to offer. It is possible I will get the horn before the weekend. Plus the price I found on the 9930 was only about $450 more than the 992. I just wish I had the horns side by side to compare.

You won't be sorry. I bought a 9937 about 7 months ago, even though it was brand new, I re-padded it with oversize parabolic resontors amd it is definitely the best feeling/playing/sounding horn I've ever played. Although the silver plated army surplus Zephyr I have comes in a close 2nd.just love the flexibility of that king sound and flutelike feel.

I hope you like it - I prefer the S992 and always think the gold lacquer keys look really tacky on the silver Yanis.
