The last couple times I've tried to use the Edit feature after posting, it's eaten the post and spewed up garbage like this (http://saxontheweb.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=305413&postcount=7):

I'm running Safari 1.2 on Mac OS 10.3 if that helps.

No idea Paul, I'll check into it though.

Anyone else having this problem?

Best,
Chris S

There's the problem, you should be using a vintage Kaypro, with a large chambered browser...

Edit - just to check if it happens to me.

While admittedly the above isn't crystal clear, it's not much worse that some posts I've seen.

And we can get the gist from the "fetch, slash nought (\0\0\0), Conn..." Basically you're telling your wife or someone to fetch your Conn but don't *^%##@ bash it anywhere. Right?

This is weird.

Question: Did you guys use the simple edit feature or the advanced one?

My recent posts have not had an edit button available.

EDIT: but this one does! How strange.

I've experimented edting my own posts and posts of others (one of the perks of being a mod), and haven't had any problems.

Paul, if it happens again, leave it how it is, and either send one of the mods a PM or hit the 'report post' button and we'll see what we can do. Might be a problem with the software, I'll try and get to a vbulletin forum to ask soon.
