I have the oppurtunity to buy a Borgani Straight Soprano sn. 11XXX. What can people tell me about it? How do they compare to Conns? Selmers? What is a fair price for one? Thanks!

If they aren't the Jubilee model, they are more akin to a student model than a true pro horn. I used to own one. One of the strange things about them is that they are about an inch shorter than any other soprano that I've ever seen, but they still play in tune. (I think they have a fatter bore than most horns.)
They are pretty good horns, but I wouldn't pay a whole lot for it, especially when you can get a nice Antigua for $795, or a Kessler for $659.
Jeru_Bigard,
Personaly I didn't have any experience with them, but you can
go to advanced serch and type "borgani soprano", select "search titles only" and here is what you'll get...

They are heavy and a bit awkward to hold, with a tone that makes it worth it.
But I don't know if I would buy an earlier Borgani without playing it first.
