Difference between h/craft standard special and a committee?

I have just purchased a mid 40's standard special alto and was wondering what are the differences between this and the first committee sax's. Also tone wise and intonation.

What I read was this...
The Standard is based on there earlier "Handcraft Committee" (The Cityskyline engraved horns).
