Selmer sax LTDA1BG orLTDA1LQ info.

I am looking at buying my son a Selmer LTDA1BG saxophone. I was told that this would be a good upper intermediate sax. I can't find any info. on this instument. It is only sold at Brook Mays music stores. Can anyone give me some information on quality. (I'm pretty sure the "BG" means black and gold finish) How does this compare to other selmer or non-selmer saxophones.
