Just a quick question for Mr. Mojo Magic........is it possible to send you a piece to simply balance? Like....say I purchased a new Meyer mpc......could I send it to you to make sure everything is level and just...."what it's supposed to be?"
I know factory produced mouthpieces are sometimes inconsistent. Do you balance factory models w/o changing their basic design?

Yes, I do a lot of this work. I do not have factory specs. I do not think anyone outside of the factory does. Seeing the variation in factory pieces, I doubt the factory workers have the specs either...
I correct flaws I see and steer the facing towards a conventional normal facing based on my data and experiance.

Ok MojoBari...I just acquired a New York Meyer 4M for $30...and I was wondering how much it would cost to get it opened to a 5, and perfecting little tiny grooves on the biteplate? ( 2 or 3....only one real major one).
The piece still plays fantastic though, and I'm afraid even fixing the tooth grooves would alter its tone. Should I keep it at the 4M and not risk it, only fixing the tooth grooves and the little tiny blemish on the side rails? I'm thinking of playing the piece instead of selling it, although I'm considering offers.
Price range? Thanks.

Williamsburg huh? You should have made yourself known, we would have wined and dined you folks a bit. Did you ride Alpengeist?

Yes, the whole family are coaster fanatics. Appolo's Chariot is a goodie too. Do you know why was the DrakonFire coaster closed and ulitimately dismantled?
Did 5 full days with Busch, Water park, Colonial 'burg, Jamestown, Yorktown. We go every few years.

Mojo Bari, Dragonfire was considered too rough (with head/neck jerks) so Bush dismantled it and sent it to Germany. People didn't ride it enough to justify keeping and maintaining it.

Thanks for the info. I kinda figured as much. I think it had 7 inversions and it did knock the noggin around a lot. Some of these newer coasters are so smooth now.

Yes sir, and Alpengeist is a thrill, so different and smooth as silk! Love those computer designs and prints - they are works of precision.
And to stay on sax topic: so is my Reference 54 - precision.
We were there Thursday (17th) all day, probably bumped into eachother a time or two without knowing (if you were there). We ride them all; the train (steam locomotives are my joy), wild mouse and drink beer too!
All the best,
Bill C.
