I didn't know Dolnet made a stencil for Martin? Or is it a different martin than the famous one?
/confused
*edit* from the somewhat murky pics (I wish Ebay would post a 'how to take pics for auctions' thread) it appears to be a Bel Air, or some mutagen of said model.

The serial number indicates this is a stencil from the Dolnet Belair version and looking at the mother of pearl inlays in the keyguards it is a belair. I own a Dolnet Belair Royal Jazz and it looks exactly the same. They are great underestimated Horns. Don Byass played Dolnet Belair Tenor. I do not think this one is made for Martin USA but for Robert Martin - MACON. There are more Dolnet stencils carrying his name.
Look here at this link: http://www.oldmusicalinstruments.co.uk/instruments/instrument_detail.php?id=56&cat=SR
There are also Stencil of Dolnets sold by MARTIN FRERES (Martin Brothers) - PARIS. They where woodwind builders like clarinettes and what i know of they never made their own saxophones. This was their address: Martin Frères & Famille, Paris, 93 rue de la Chapelle. Wind instrument makers.
