I've been here 10 years and I haven't found a repairman I really trust. For major work I'd still go to my guy back in Pittsburgh. I need some work done on my Guardala Tenor. I bought it @ Chuck's. They adjusted it once but I didn't like what they did. I had a guy I went to who used to work for Dale but he passed on. If anyone could refer me to a slammin sax tech in DC/MD/VA I'd appreciate.
Lee Lachman in College Park, Md. is good. Ph. # 301-345-3389. Tony Valenti in Alexandria, Va. is good too, but can be slow. Ph. # 703-780-4322.

Another good choice is Peter Ferrante in Arlington, Virginia. He's located at 2219B North Columbus Street, Suite #303. His phone number is 703-841-8335. A great guy who will chat up a storm with you while he checks your horn for light leaks or replaces the cork on your neck while you wait.
Just mention Thelonious Monk if you can't think of anything to start a conversation or ask him about the Martin Baritone he has downstairs.
