hi, i'm a clarinet and bass clarinet player but i want to start playing saxophone too. i was so close to buy a selmer soprano sax but i'm not sure if it's really worth all that money. my friend has an old buescher tenor and it's just as good (soundwise) as the selmers. where can i get information about the older buescher models and read about them, and how do i know that i'm not overcharged? what's the price for each model? also i'd like to know how are the new buescher models? they cost about 500$. i don't know about saxes, but a clarinet that cost that little is usually unplayable at best. if they are good i can buy an alto and soprano in less than half the money a selmer soprano would cost me. (the new soprano is BU3 and the new alsto is BU$).
any help would be appreciated.
