Eddie Harris

I was listening to audio clips from his album Silver Cycles, and was in awe. Considering that I had only heard 2 recordings of him ("Cold Duck Time" and "Freedom Jazz Dance"), that was a wake-up call at what a great player Eddie was.

Everyone should check out his albums, especially his straight-ahead stuff!

I downloaded about eight of his tunes...with Les McCan. I really like Les and Eddie too...very smooth sound...reminds me of Redman Jr.

Get 'Autum Leaves' if you don't have it...that old Hammond Organ sound is a killer too.
