Anyone know of a sax-pac type contoured case that a SSS will fit in? Problem is the B & Bb on the left side of the bell. I am told that it won't fit in a pro-tec (by Pro-tec rep).

i have used my protech to tote both my 6m and selmer cigar-cutter(supersax) . fits fine
Just buy a good case, and see how much place is left for the bell keys. Then you take a good knife and cut the case.... Improvise man!!

Bruce- I just got a Hiscox lite flite for my aristo and I'm sure your Selmer will fit in there no problem. And I gotta say it's absolutely the coolest case I've ever seen! If there ever was a perfect case, this is it! Plenty of storage too, unlike my walt johnson.
I checked out your horn when I was at duncan last and man what a sweet horn!! The action is like butta. I want to play it when Mike gets it going.
You're also welcome any time to check out my case to see if it fits. (it will)
It's no doubt the best case on the market.
The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't fit my Keilwerth. I can squeeze it in, but it's tight enough to make me nervous.
Email me and we'll get together.
Check out Junkdude.com for the lite flite.
Bruce, I would also add that the Pro Tech should be no problem. I got one for my alto and tenor, specifically because they do accomodate "vintage" horns. I am now using Berkeleys which are more compact and have a stronger outer shell (but no pockets and storage like the Pro Tech).
I have heard great things about the Hiscox, by the way.

Brucesax: Didn't we go through this on the old forum? I recall a similar thread . . . and that your horn was a tenor, not the more recognized alto with the Cigar-Cutter mechanism. Anyway, my alto Cigar Cutter fits snugly in a Pro-Tec sax-shaped case. DAVE

Dave, Yes it is a tenor.
