They are as different as two modern pro saxes can be. I have one of each (alto). The Selmer has a typical French sound but when well-set up, it has bags of power and flexibility. It feels comfortable, light and fast under the fingers and blows easily throughout the range. The JK has a broader, 'brassier' sound and is more difficult (for me) at the top end of its range. It is better engineered, more solidly built but I would say, not as fast - and I have had mine properly adjusted. Both are fine horns to own, but if I had to keep one, I'd stick with the III, its the one I usually pick up to play, though the JK has some sentimental attachment as it was 40th birthday gift and I did my first recital with it.
If you were talking about tenors, I have had two Anniversaries and both were lemons, so I sent them back (very uneven sound around the octave break), and the III is not among my favurite tenors. Still, if you are considering this investment, you must try for yourself.

I agree to singlereed, these two horns are very different. If you're looking for a compact and focused sound, go for the III, if you prefer a more spread, room filling sound, choose the SX90R. My choice is the Keilwerth, I have both an Anniversary tenor and alto, both of them great players. They simply make it easier for me to get the sound I want, kind of like feeling at home with the sound that comes out of the horn. Compare for yourself and choose what suits you better.
