Can somebody tell me about these instruments. Are they as good as today's sx90.

Are they all come from keilwerth?

Hi,
There are basically three Tone King horns, all are very excellent playing and sounding horns. I own a few Julius Keilwerth Tone King tenors and one alto, all are solidly built, powerful sounding horns, with very good intonation and tone. 8)
JK also sold bodies to various german firms, including Amati Kraslice and they finished them with either their keywork or keilwerths. These are also great horns and equal to the JK models. You can tell the amati tonekings because they have amati engraved below the tone king. the body should have JKG engraved on the back in a circle, with best in the world.
the third tone king is all amati. still good horns. no JK on the back. no micro-tuner on the neck. they do have a excellent sound.
I would base my choice on the price, with the "all JK" being worth the most.

I certainly hope they're good - I have one arriving tomorrow! You may find the B&H forum informative, Chris: http://www.musicgroup.com/Instruments/Forum/FrameForum.htm, though it's a bit stuffy....

I have a Toneking Exclusiv tenor from the late '70's and it's a monster - with a tone to match. Nobody will ignore you if you play one of those !
