Hi! folks, I'm a beginning alto sax player and I want to venture on a good contemporary metal mouthpiece.
I would like to get your opinion on the mouthpieces that I selected:

1. Phil Barone "Contemporary"
2. Beechler "Gold"
3. Jody Jazz "ESP Alto Gold"

I have a Yamaha YAS-275 Alto and aiming to play in my church' praise and worship band. Currently on a Jody Jazz #4 and Rico Jazz Select #2 setup.

Thanks in advance for all the info you can share. Keep honking.

You may want to stay with the Jody Jazz until you become more developed. Try some harder reeds with it and work it up to at least a strength 3, since the facing is so small.
