Wondering if anyone knows a bunch of companies off the top of their heads that hand finishes their alto mouthpieces before they get put for sale.
I believe Morgan is a company that does this...Jody Jazz another.......anyone know any others?

Morgan yes, JJ no... I think he only hand picks them and test plays them. It's a good thing but not the same. The finishing on the jody I had was pretty rough.

All my mouthpieces are individually handfinished - table and lay, baffle, chamber - all done by hand (sanding, filing) and by myself - and play tested thoroughly.

I believe Lawton and Phil Barone are also hand finished.

I have just received two mpcs back from Johannes. His work is fantastic, the finishing of these mpcs is exceptional. He really does know his stuff!
I asked for special things to be done to these mpcs and the have been done (one of these was a Lawton too). The work is better than any factory produced mpc. Drop him a line and send him your mpc, you'll be very glad you did.
