hey everyone......i'd just like some help on picking out the right mouthpiece for me. I've been playing for 8 years, and am currently playing on a yamaha-62 alto. I want a mouthpiece that'll give me a sound similar to the edge you hear in Sanborne's playing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, I think BenJam has it covered, believe he plays a Jumbo J. We wish you well on your quest. You are going where few care to follow!

I second the suggestion of the Dukoff mpc. Try the Dukoff Silverite D6. Its very bright. 8)

Hey, I also have a YAS-62, and I currently play on a #7 beechler. It sounds great, but the only problem is, is that you must find thinner reeds, or you must sand them down. I believe that Dave Koz has the exact same set-up as both of us.
