just curious. from experience, or whatever, what seems to be the style that sounds best on a Yamaha 52 tenor? (I have the 4C stock mpc, in case that makes an earth-shattering difference)

This probably won't shift what I already play, because I love what I play and don't tailor to the horn 8) but any suggestions would be awesome, maybe I could expand my repertoire a little. Thx in advance.

Its a good versatile horn for whatever style you want to play. What do you play and what do you like? I am sure we can come up with some good ideas, and as you are alluding to, a new style brings fresh challenges that become incorporated into your playing.

I play mostly jazz and jazz-type stuff. Blues, bebop, latin, swing, funk, rock, etc. Also random other things that I discover that I like, but the above are the main ones.
