Sax Pro and Sax.co.uk are both very good companies to deal with in the UK. Efficient , well packed goods delivered perfectly. What a refreshing change.

I can say saxophones.com.uk was great to deal with from the States as well. The exchange rate dipped enough for one of their product offerings to be a far better deal than it would have been through any US dealers. Service was great, shipping was super-fast (I must admit the packing was less than desirable -but it was a stand, not a horn).

Sax.co.uk are excellent. I agree about the packing, that would be my only gripe but my sax arrived in good order.

When I purchased a Trevor James Signature Tenor (Superb horn, and very much missed) and a Keilwerth EX90II Alto from them, they came very well packed indeed. MASSIVE boxes crammed with foam. You'd have thought they were both Baritones given the size of the boxes. :D

I have always received excellent service from Myatts and Howarths. And, Michael, what about the place in Bradford you mentioned to me some time ago?

Bradford Woodwind Exchange is a good shop too with lots of vintage and all the top end modern stuff.. huge mouthpiece stock and the friendly staff are all good players and know their stuff.

Here's another excellent UK supplier; "Band Supplies" of Leeds. I checked them out by phone and found them to be very helpful.
I bought my YTS62 from them, it arrived next day in perfect order, the latest model and at an excellent price.
