YTS-475

Hi, I began studying music theory and saxophone about 1 year ago. I have learnt very fast and my teacher told me that a fred of him who owns
a music store offered YTS-475 at 1500$ (which is avery good price here in Canary Islands).

I have received an offer for my YTS23 in 800$.

The question is is it worth it paying the 700$ extra bucks and moving from YTS23 to YTS475?. Is YTS475 a good horn?.

It is a good horn, and those prices are about what we pay here for a new YSS475 or a YAS 275 which is the replacement for your alto. The 475 is a better model than the 23 and is perfectly good enough for professional use. I love playing soprano, but whether you would want one INSTEAD of an alto, I don't know - there is nowwhere near as much music to play for soprano as for alto. If you can find a gig as a soprano specialist, then that would be great.
