This is a song Skerik plays alot with his groups. It's called Magnolia Triangle, and is by a guy from New Orleans. My searches have proved fruitless. Can anyone step in?

That's a great tune, and great feel being in 5. James Black wrote it, and it was recorded on an Ellis Marsalis recording. That version may be a better one for transcription, and you can find it on emusic.com.

Does anyone out there have sheet music for the Madness tune-One step beyond? I've figured most of it out by ear, but would still like a reference to look at. Thanks! e-mail

I have a sheet on it. I'll try and get it scanned in. I agree with bgprice though, you should get the Ellis recording and transcribe a chart from that. Also, Harold Batiste is going to be publishing a New Orleans Real Book of sorts very soon. I'm sure that this tune will be in there.
