From my experience, the Ponzol M2 is not really a paintpeeler MP. It has a small chamber and high baffle, but is surprisingly full sounding.
If you are looking for something loud and bright, you might want to try Lawton or the high baffled Guardalas.

Also try a Runyon Quantum. Bright and loud, but not thin.

Try a modified Ponzol, opened chamber and a Bullet style baffle. A very different kettle of fish and a 300x's more playable mpc.

Hey Bootman, I 've got an M2 110 that I'd like to try this on. How did you change the baffle? Thanks

I love my Ponzol M2 120. The sound is full and medium bright, with a bit of edge. For bright, loud, and edgy, I suggest a plastic Runyon Quantum with spoiler. I find the metal Quantums to be not as bright as the plastic ones. I've also heard that Dukoffs are pretty bright and edgy.

Larrys,
Speak to Johannes Gerber in South Africa, he has done the work and has the measurements. Dropme a line and I will pass along his email.
