Alexander Reed Remarks

Greetings,

I'm a Bass Clarinetist but I have used Tenor Sax reeds rather frequently. I have no experience with the Alexander line. Any comments. I prefer a reed that tends to sound darker, but you never know!

These reeds have been the most widely discussed on the forum. Try a search for past threads.You'll get a million opinions


I personally like them and I like a dark sound . I use the Classiques ,DC's would be less darker and Superial are pretty bright and buzzy which is how they are advertised.

They are not the cheapest reed out there they last quite a while and are very consistent. Cane quality is great.

This makes a good value in the long run.
