Any one know whats up with Ponzol reeds lately? WW&BW has had them on back order for several months now.
I recently recieved a box of tenor Ponzols that had one french[double] cut reed in it. I suspect that some commercially available brand of reed out there is the same cane that Ponzols are, just french cut, and one got mixed up and stamped and boxed as a Ponzol. My guess is Alexander D.C.'s.
I do find the cane less consistent than a few years back, but good ones are really good, vibrant and last.
