I don't have pics but it was gold with a pink bite plate and had been altered in the chamber. No numbers or markings on it. It was soooo big of a tone, easy blowing and had tons of edge without being nasel. Pink bite plate? any ideas. Felt easier to play and bigger tone than a modern superking. K (tenor piece)

Pink biteplate indicates it was a hand-made model. Beyond that, I'm afraid I can't be much help.

Did you get a look at the baffle and chamber?........

Open, circular chamber. Baffle didn't seem as steep as the current King, Super King. Might have been an old MB type piece but it played so easily. I had a MB silver piece years ago and the response on my RPC 130 was twice as easy. This piece rocked!! K (Lots of work though. The baffle had been changed so much you could see the pink bite plate showing through the inside of the piece) Just curious. Probably would get a grand on ebay. K

Probably not $1000 since it had been altered. Loweres its value to those on ebay who can not play test it.
