Kessler Custom Tenor Intonation and Tone?

I'm an Intermediate sax player I've been playing sop for over a year I want to move to tenor and am very interested in the kessler custom model and I was wondering how the intonation and tone are? Could someone who owns one give me a detailed description of the horn?

Bubba: I bought one earlier this year. I've played sop, alto, and clarinet for 49 years and this was my first tenor. I'd tried two new tenors a year before (a Cannonball and a Yamaha Z) but wasn't impressed. However, Kessler's Custom tenor turned out to be very impressive, especially for this smaller-saxophone player.

I bought the Kessler OL7 mouthpiece with the horn. Great combo, in my view. The horn plays on pitch, top to bottom and sounds better to me than either tenor I previously tested.

Not being a REAL tenor player, I can't adequately describe the tone except to say that it is smooth and warm and my wife likes it. DAVE
