Otto Link 7* - Vandoren T75

What reed do you play on your link stm 7* or Vandoren Java T75?
I play on both a lavoz med.

Just got a T75 on trial. It seems pretty reed friendly and Jazz Select 3, V16 3, Gonzales 3 and ZZ 3 1/2 seem to work on it. Nice piece with a low baffle of just the right size on it, just enough for good response and projection but not too much as to "take over."

On a Link 7* I would suggest brighter reeds such as V16 3 (maybe with some light sanding) or 2 1/2, Java 3, Superial 3, LaVoz M or Marca Jazz 3.

I'm kicking out the STM 7* out.:( The T75 is much more to my taste.;)

Oddly enough .. I am taking a renewed interest in my SS Berg 100/3 .. good sound as it is but with the (removable) baffle that Mojo Bari did for me, it REALLY get out there .. but with more edge.. Not quite what I'll play in the church emsemble .. But there are other places and times to turn up the heat.
