I own a nikkel plated sax with the engraving;

I was wondering if anyone new when it might have been made, and what it might be worth...

Also I found an 5* OttoLink mouthpiece but I wont get untill christmas, would that be a decent combination?

Can't answer the mouthpiece question because there are too many variables to know which would make a decent match for your 6M, but the Link might be a good place to start since you're getting it anyway.

The Link may be a good match but I have never favored them on Alto. Lucky for you as the Conns are pretty easy to match about any mputhpiece to. Find a vintage M C Gregory and that horn will really carry.

an scroll down to the bottom. There you will find a list of several saxophones and recommended mouthpieces. This will be a good start for your search.
The page is in German but I think the table is understandable for every one.
The guy who wrote this list and the articles has a depth knowledge of how mpc work at its best.
