Geez, just stumbled across this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7365136098

Thought I'd keep an eye on it 'cause while I'm not sure, I think it might actually be a 30m (the pics aren't great, but I could swear I see the engraving, neck, silver touches, and an adjustment foot of a 30m), and maybe worth taking the chance if it went for a decent price. I don't NEED another 30m, in fact I'm thinking of selling the one I have, but I'm a sucker for a good deal....

Well, I guess I'm not the only one with sharp eyes! Even mis-labelled horns fetch top dollar.... Oh well, hope the buyer enjoys it!

Yes, it does indeed appear to be a 30M. Not an unrealistic price for a very clean example such as this. I didn't notice whether it might be a relaq. or not, which would of course drastically impact the value of the horn.

Got to be careful.(as we all know) I got a chu for a cheap. When I opened the case it was relaqed. You live and learn. It was ok though because I got it for cheap and wanted to try a vintage tenor anyway.

As a repair tech i play a lot of relaq horns that are as good as non relaq so i guess if people want players not lookers or investements all is ok....still some great bargains to be had....i have a 6m that is a relaq which is one of the best sounding i have played ???
