Is unison marketing their horns under a different name? I've done a couple of internet searches for Unison Sax's and end up with sites selling a horn called Hollywoodwinds, but nothing with the Unison name on it.

I wouldn't want a horn with the name Hollywoodwinds on it. It sounds to reminiscent of L.A. Sax. *Shivers down spine*

The Hollywoodwinds name is associated with noted repair-tech Rheuben Allen, who's shop is in Hollywood, CA (in the Local 47 building on Vine Street). He is reputable. DAVE

By chance, I was in Rheuben's shop yesterday. He had a Hollywoodwinds baritone that I looked at for a friend. I didn't play it, but it sure was pretty. I got the impression that this line of saxes is aimed at the player who is looking for pro quality for less than the big 4 brands cost - similar to Cannonball & P. Mauriat. Per Rheuben, he orders these horns built for him in Taiwan and made to his specifications. I would like to play one but haven't yet.
