At the Boston IAJE about 10 or so years ago there was a guy selling titanium reeds that where associated with his brand of mouthpiece. The tip opening could be adjusted with the turn of a key. Not my cup of tea but to each his own...

I wouldn't use a metal reed on your mouthpiece. It wasn't designed for that kind of vibration/friction/beating and would probably wear you and the mouthpiece out pretty efficiently.

A mouthpiece/reed combo was listed on eBay earlier this month (item 7353939091). Attracted a bid of $102 but didn't reach reserve.
