Which would you choose?

I had both and I found the Quantum (metal) extremely well finished, while the Dukoff was among the worst examples of poor factory finishing I had seen in my years of sax playing.

In essence, I think that if you get a Quantum it will be very likely playable right away, while from a Dukoff I'd expect the immediate need for a refacing.

Personally speaking I foud the Quantum surprisingly easy to play in all registers, from ppp to fff. It was probably to be credited to the good facing, but also its chamber might have had a role in that ease of playing.
