Hi,
I have recently come across a Saxophone which I would like to find out more about. It was described as an Alto but I think it may be a curved Soprano. It is about 24 inches long but appears to take an Alto reed, but the mouthpiece does not fit an Alto Sax.:?
I have posted some pictures on the web at:

Any ideas at all???

Thanks,

Alistair

I have seen THINGS like that before. It is not really a complete sax . You can notice some of the keys are missing. I don't think it is a playable horn.Don't put any money into it. These horns may be from India.

I'm with Ken on this one. India. There are loads of these popping up on Ebay UK.

Oh yes, that is one of those Indian things, it is a copy of some historic beginner's sax and of no practical use whatsoever. There are Chinese products now for the same sort of money that do the job, although admittedly not fantastically well.

Hope you have not given any money over in the deal, these horns are a disgrace and even look crap as a lamp shade
