I´m an alto sax player from buenos aires city (argentine) and I would like to know what brand of reeds are better to working with a freddie gregory mouthpiece (silver solid) 9*.-

Well, I use vandoren V16 #2.5 for my alto 8* freddie gregory, but I must admitt that I play my guardala more often.

Dr_sax, Which model of guardala do you use? have you tried all the models for alto? why the preference over the FG?

I play a guardala king on alto. It gives me a bit more power with a bit more overtones than the FG. The FG plays a bit softer overall.
