I'm using Band In A Box to notate some music and cannot find a way of writing triplet crotchets. In fact, the only way I can find to do triplets is by enabling "swing feel" which allows you to do quaver triplets. Does anyone know how to do it or even if it is possible?

Yes its possible, but I'm not sure how I do it! Enter your notes on the 1st and 3rd division of the first beat and the 2nd division of the second beat. This will appear as two quavers and a crotchet on the notation. Close the file file and open it again and lo & behold you have a crotchet triplet on the notation - or at least I do!

OK, many thanks. I'll give that a go.

What about quaver crotchets without "swing feel" enabled?

I'm not sure where to find "swing feel", so I don't know if I have it enabled or not! If you let me know which menu its on I'll check to see if I have it enabled. When you say 'quaver crotchets', do you mean 'quaver triplets'? When I'm entering a quaver triplet, I just enter the notes on divisions 1, 2 & 3 of the beat (with the 'beat resolution' set at 3) - as I said, don't know if this is with or without 'swing feel'. Feel free to PM me.
