You might want to try a Pro-Tec bari case. I have one for my Buescher bari, and it works well. Has a shoulder strap that comes in handy, too.

I just found this thread. What vintage Buescher do you have and which case did you buy (contoured or coffin?) I'm looking for a new case for my Big B Bari. How has the Protec held up?

Don't bother trying a BAM Hightech case for you The Martin. I tried it - it's not even close. Too bad.... I'd like to hear what you end up with, as I'm looking too.

I just found this thread again. I think I'm just going to order a DEG case off of wwbw and see how it works. After three layers of duct tape I think my current case is about finished.

I will be getting in some extra ABS cases for my low A baris with my Kessler Custom shipment. I am assuming though that your bari has too big of a throat diameter through the bell. However, I am not sure.

I fit my Martin Magna low A Bari in my Contoured Pro-Tec case with no problem. It's held up for over a year quite nicely. That's five to ten gigs per month and protected it very well.

My The Martin Bari is in a Protec countoured case right now and it fits very well.

Hey. Took me a while to catch this reply. I haven't seen the Protech contoured bari case, 'though I have one for alto and tenor. Always thought it might not be sturdy enough for a bari - what's your impression of it? It seems hard to find a case that fits The Martin bari... the bell is not just big but extends further out from the body than, say, an old Conn.

I have been happy with the Protec case and it fits my The Martin Bari very well. Having said that, I don't travel much with my bari so I can't comment regarding survivability under harsh conditions.
